# Pricing

Pay for the browsing data your agent uses through Aluvia. Start with a free trial, then buy more data at $2/GB when you need it.

## Try the first 10 MB free

```sh
npx aluvia-cli setup
```

No account or payment required to start. Paste this command into your agent chat and ask it to install Aluvia. [Setup guide](/docs).

## What the price covers

The first 10 MB is free, then data costs 2 USD per GB. This covers data sent and received while your agent browses through Aluvia. Country selection is included.

A different IP address can help with website blocks and country restrictions. It does not guarantee access to every website.

## When the free trial ends

Your agent gives you a link to set up your account and buy more data. Open it if you want to continue. You choose whether to pay.

Already have an account? [Open your dashboard](https://dashboard.aluvia.io/billing) to manage your data. [Payment instructions](/e/payment_required).

## Bring your own proxy

Already use a proxy service? Give your agent its connection details and ask it to connect through Aluvia. You do not pay Aluvia for that bandwidth.

Your provider's prices and country options still apply. Ask your agent to switch back to Aluvia's network whenever you need it. [Connection instructions](/docs#use-your-own-proxy).

## Residential IPs for agents

Aluvia gives agents [residential proxy IPs](/landing/global-proxy) so they can try pages that block a cloud connection or show the wrong country. If [your agent looks like a cloud server](/landing/cloud-server), a home-style IP in the country you choose is the usual next step.
