Muse is Meta's personal AI agent. In the US it is available on iOS, Android, and muse.ai. Muse Secure VM is a persistent, dedicated virtual machine with its own browser: it can open the web, fill forms, book appointments, and complete a checkout with a one-time card after approval. Meta does not describe that browser's exit country. Websites still see the IP of the cloud computer, which can be a datacenter range in a country the page does not serve.
Aluvia is a local CLI and proxy daemon for the existing Chrome or Chromium browser. It routes that browser through a residential or mobile IP in a selected country.
Browser task context
A Muse AI agent browser on Muse Secure VM may show content that is not available in your country, a geo-restricted catalog, or an IP-related Cloudflare or CAPTCHA page. Sites choose that response from the request country and from the reputation of a cloud or datacenter exit, not from the muse.ai client or a phone. Check saved country and account settings too. A residential or mobile IP sometimes helps when the request country or datacenter IP is the cause. For a matching region message, use the region guide. Check command access on the Secure VM
These steps apply when Muse's task uses Chrome or Chromium on a host you can configure. Muse Secure VM is Meta's dedicated cloud computer; installing Aluvia on a laptop, an iOS or Android app, or a muse.ai tab does not change that browser. If you cannot run setup on the Secure VM, or if its browser is not Chrome or Chromium, this local setup path does not apply.
Start with setup
npx aluvia-cli setupFirst 10 MB free without an account, API key or payment; then 2 USD per GB. Requires Node.js 18 or later, a usable local Chrome or Chromium browser and command access to its host. Check setup before continuing
Read the JSON result. ready: true confirms the browser/proxy path and upstream check, not target-site access. Follow next if recovery is needed. Successful setup already enables proxy traffic. If aluvia is not on PATH, use npx aluvia-cli instead.
Check country availability
Choose the country the task needs from the current list. The command below is an example; substitute an available country or skip selection if the global pool is suitable.

After setup reports readiness, choose the country the site needs and reload the page in the same Muse browser. Confirm the catalog, shipping options, or region message. Do not treat a CAPTCHA or 403 as proof of the cause until you have read the page.

A different IP sometimes clears a CAPTCHA, 403, or Cloudflare challenge tied to the current exit. It does not beat a fingerprint-only check, skip a login, or grant licensed content. Aluvia is not a VPN for Netflix or other streaming. Country only; aluvia geos lists available countries.
Reload and verify
Reload the target using the same browser tool and check the required content. Run status and follow its next field. For a suspected IP refusal, rotate once and reload; stop if it still fails. For a rate limit, wait and reduce requests.

Show the actual claim_url from payment_required to the operator. They can claim the account and buy data at 2 USD per GB. Run aluvia auth login to wait, inspect the response and retry. Never invent a claim URL or reveal a key. Payment handoff.
